This is Why I Did it

13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher is about a boy named Clay who returns home and discovers a box of cassette tapes on his bed. When Clay listens to the cassette tapes, he finds that it's his crush Hannah Baker who committed suicide a couple weeks earlier. Clay proceeds to travels through his hometown while listening to the cassette tapes to find out why Hannah committed suicide.

My favorite character was Clay, because I sympathized for him. Clay hearing Hannah saying why she killed her self on the tapes was hard for him. Every where Clay went, he found another way he could have helped Hannah. Clay should be frustrated that his crush committed suicide, and wasn't able to help her.

I thought this was a very well written book about what teenagers go through in high school. It had a good message in it, that: words and actions do hurt, especially the ones you don't say. I would suggest this book to people who enjoy reading teen fiction books.

One Mans Journey

American Sniper by Chris Kyle is about Chris's life when he was at war and trying to have a normal life at home after being way at war for 10 years.

My favorite character/person was Chris's wife Taya. She went through so much with Chris being gone all the time and kept loving him through all the decisions he made. She raised two kids on her own and had to deal with Chris's PTSD along with it.

What I liked about this book was that it was written from his prospective when he was at war. We get to see what happen in war from a soldiers perspective compared to hearing what reporters and media are telling us.

prefer autobiography and this one was one of the best autobiography I have read in a long time. I would recommend this book for people who like autobiography's about military and war
