My favorite character/person was Chris's wife Taya. She went through so much with Chris being gone all the time and kept loving him through all the decisions he made. She raised two kids on her own and had to deal with Chris's PTSD along with it.
What I liked about this book was that it was written from his prospective when he was at war. We get to see what happen in war from a soldiers perspective compared to hearing what reporters and media are telling us.
I prefer autobiography and this one was one of the best autobiography I have read in a long time. I would recommend this book for people who like autobiography's about military and war
